Something new

I have joined the ranks of bloggers. All my children have blogs. Some keep them more updated than others -- Megan. I enjoy reading them all. I like to read the blogs of my friends and their children.

I have been working (I use that term very loosely) at Clark's office for all but two weeks since the 11th of May. I am not used to that and I feel like I have lost my summer. Adam asked last week if I planned to have the kids stay with me this summer. I do hope to do that, but it will all depend on the hiring of a secretary at the office.

The past several months have been busy for me. On June 20th, we had the 9th annual Olsen Family Reunion at Iron Springs. I like to make holiday pillow cases for the raffle at the reunion. I accumulate fabric throughout the year. I should make the cases as I acquire the fabric. Do I??? No! So the few days before the reunion I was feverishly sewing. They are so fun. And I actually enjoy the sewing.

The next Saturday, the 27th, was the New Scout Day Camp that Clark has been scoutmaster over for the last 8 years. I am the official assistant. We had a great camp.

Eleven days later -- 07-08-09 -- was the wedding for Rhett & Natalie. What a beautiful day. Everything went smoothly. That evening was a formal dinner/dance. All the gals looked so special with their updo hair styles and formal dresses. Thanks, Natalie. Ten days later we had the open house in Spanish Fork. Such a beautiful, classy event. The next day we had an open house in Vernal. A special outdoor event.

I am exhausted. I am ready for a new secretary to hold down this chair and let me be at home and get serious about this blogging. Oh, and I might even dust. :)
