Lije & Jake at Christmas

The boys stayed with us when Megan went back to SLC. We went to the airport to shovel the snow and ice from in front of the hanger door. Then, of course, we had to make sure the plane could get out, and if it got out, then it probably needed to be started. Next thing we knew, we were up in the air for a short circle around the valley. Jake was a huge help in getting the plane back in the hanger. Lije had a great time flying (while on the ground).
McDonald's is another "must d0" while the kids are visiting. It wasn't very crowded on a Saturday evening and the boys (Jake is in front of Lijiah) got up close and personal with the basketball. Poor old Santa has had a very hard time standing up this year. He had some willing helpers to get him back on his feet.
Jake's #2 favorite thing (behind the museum) is to ride in Grandpa's Blue Truck. The museum was all decked out for the holidays. Erin took the boys to Tridell one afternoon for a wagon ride. They thought they were pretty cool.

We love having the grandkids come.
