Our Tree

Jarod and Lilli joined us for our tree cutting day this year. She wasn't too sure about the snow.
She kind of liked using the saw. In the "older" days when we had "Old Blue" (our first suburban) there were no rails on the top and we had to tie one side of the rope to the door handle, get all the kids in, and then tie the other side to the other door handle. The luggage rails on top sure make things easier. This was not part of our group. Somebody's day cutting a tree didn't end quite right. Ouch :( Lilli provided us with some entertainment as we were decorating the tree. You can see we still have the Thanksgiving decorations up. Jarod said he felt like he was visiting Thankmas. Thanksgiving did come down on Monday and the Christmas decorations went up on Tuesday. Lilli really wanted to help with the bubble lights. Jarod put all the lights on the tree. This is the first time in our married life that Clark has not put the lights on. We did have egg nog and listened to the Statler Brothers Christmas music. I'm not sure our tree would stay straight if we eliminated either of the above mentioned traditions. Merry Christmas everyone.
