Mick & Tori Halloween

The week before Halloween Adam's whole family was very sick with the flu. On the 30th, Julie was admitted to the hospital with viral pneumonia. I went to Spanish Fork to stay with the kids so Adam could be at the hospital. Saturday afternoon we took the kids to a Halloween carnival sponsored by a local elementary. It was fun. It has been a very long time since I have attended a school carnival.

Tori was a beautiful Tinker Bell, but the sequiny Tinker Bells on her tutu were snagging on her tights and she took it off right after this picture. I'm glad we got at least one photo.

Mick was a very scary glow-in-the-dark skeleton. This was about the only time he wore his mask because it was too hot. It was an absolutely gorgeous fall afternoon. He was preparing to play pin the nose on the witch.

Must teach this boy to brush his teeth better. ;)

One booth at the fair was hair stuff. Tori got green dots to match her wings and then glitter spray. Another booth was face painting.

Julie was released from the hospital on Sunday evening. I stayed until Tuesday. They are all on the mend now.
They have some prescription cough medicine that must taste pretty bad. Mick recognizes that it does make him feel better in spite of the bad taste. Monday night Adam told him it was time for the cough medicine. Mick said, "Oh no. Not that horrible disgusting stuff that tastes like sunbeams and rainbows because of the way it makes you feel." Typical Mick.
