When we arrived at Antelope Island the kids wanted to see some buffalo. It just happened that we saw buffalo at the same time we saw Adam and Julie and they were going to have to run very near the buffalo. Clark and Jarod with all the kids except Kade headed down the hill to intercept Adam and Julie and to see the buffalo. They got pretty close. Too close for my comfort. I'm glad I was safe in the car away from those big critters. 
We were told not to make eye contact with the animals, but Jake just stared it down and it returned to munching on the grass. 
Before we saw the buffalo and the runners, the kids looked through the telescopes to check out the Great Salt Lake. 
It was very windy and cold. I stayed in the car with baby Kade and let the others enjoy the sights.
