A Christmas Carol

I have heard for years how wonderful the Hale Centre Theatre's performance of "A Christmas Carol" is. This was our year to give it a try. I will say the setting and such at the theater is absolutely incredible. It is mind boggling the things they can do with that stage. Props come up, props come down. The stage goes in circles. Wow!!
However, I do have to say that the Scrooge story has never been one of my favorites. If I had to choose between "Forgotten Carols" and "A Christmas Carol", "Forgotten Carols" all the way.
We did make a nice weekend of it. I drove to Spanish Fork on the 16th and stayed with the grandkids so Adam and Julie could have some time to celebrate their 10th Anniversary. Then Clark and I met up in SLC. We picked up Lije and Jake from day care and took them to the Living Planet Aquarium. We all had fun. Dinner at Mc Donald's and then the play. I love that we get to spend time with our family.
