Adam and Julie invited the entire family to their home for an afternoon Christmas Eve party. The pictures are not in the correct order of the story, but we all have that challenge from time to time.
Clark, Erin, and I spent the night with them and were there to watch the kids open their gifts. It was so much fun. It has been a very long time since we have had truly excited kids on Christmas morning.
Adam and Victoria.

Kade was so cute. Julie put him down on the floor and he immediately crawled to his Santa pile and started playing with his toys. He is so adorable. Those big blue eyes just melt you.

This was the moment! Kade woke up first, then Tori, and lastly Mick. Julie kept them upstairs until Adam could get situated with the camera.

Christmas Eve, just before bed time, Mick and Tori got to open one gift each. Tori chose the present we gave her. She loves to perform in front of her mirror. We found this fun microphone with flashing lights etc. She loved it. She was kind of bashful in front of us, but later if you stood outside her bedroom door, there was quite a performance going on.

Love the Santa slippers I found at Target.

In the nearby community of Salem an annual tradition is the lighting of trees on floating barges on Salem Pond. We have gone there several times. It is so beautiful. If you're ever in the area at Christmas time, make sure you check it out.

Auntie Erin was sharing her computer with the kids. I think they were checking out the Santa Tracker to see if it was bed time yet.

Uncle Rhett is always the good sport and gives plenty of horsey rides.

We played Christmas Bingo. We used M&M's for the markers. I'm not sure how anyone ever got a Bingo. The markers were disappearing pretty fast.

I had promised myself I wouldn't ask for a family photo, but I just couldn't resist. Who knows when we will all get together again. Not a smiling face on everyone, but they all cooperated and looked at the camera. YEAH!!

We invited Clark's mom to join us for the afternoon festivities. After lunch Clark and Jarod met Mitch in Lehi and she spent Christmas and a few extra days with Mitch's family in Lake Point (Tooele area).
It was a wonderful holiday.
