Annual Dad & Lad Expedition

Clark did a lot of camping with the boys as scouts, but the year Adam returned from his mission, 2000, they went on a camp that was just him and his sons. They have tried to do that each year since. Some years the grandsons have joined them and one year Julie, Erin, and I tagged along. That was a shorter trip.

This year the trip was to Capital Reef National Park. They had a great time and think that they might go back next year because there is so much more to see.

Most years they are able to find a waterfall to take a group shot next to. Clark has a wall of fame in his office with a photo from each year. It is quite a conversation piece. I love my men and I am so happy they are able to juggle schedules to spend this time together.
