A Day on the Lake

We seem to have a hard time keeping the boat running. This year it was the end of August before we finally got it in the water. It happened to be the weekend that Erin was home between Boot Camp and Military Combat Training (MCT, also known as weapons training).

Jarod has tried a couple of times to water ski and -- Yeah!! -- this time he was successful. He got up after several tries and made several loops around Red Fleet Reservoir. He was so tickled with himself and we were just pleased as punch.

Lillie loves the swimming pool, but this water was just tooo cool for her. As you can see, this was not her favorite activity of the day. Jarod talked Jamie into trying to ski just once. She didn't make it up on one try, but boy was I proud of her for giving it a shot. Lilli and Erin totally enjoyed the ride up front. Lilli also loved being the driver.
