After Boot Camp, Erin was able to come home for approximately 2 weeks then she had to head back to Camp Geiger in North Carolina for Military Combat Training school.
We should have taken a photo of her with her baggage. Pretty impressive to see her lugging around two extra large, fully stuffed sea bags, one full clothing hanging bag, and this smaller carry on bag. Thank you airlines for letting active duty military personnel check 3 bags for free.
She really enjoyed most of her MCT experience. She loved the guns and explosives. She did exceptionally well at the land navigation exercises. She did not love the 18 inches of rain in one week they received the last week she was there. I hope her feet heal some time soon. She also is enjoying eating real food again. She had MRE's (meals ready to eat) for most of the 4 weeks of training.
