If you have never played boom whackers, you are missing out. It is reminiscent of playing chimes. You have plastic tubes cut to specific lengths and color coded to play a specific note. The leader has a chart with the colors listed, instead of notes. You can hit the tubes on your head, leg, etc. OR your neighbor's head, leg, etc. It is a lot of fun.
The remaining children and spouses of Emmett and Irene Hall. Gratton is past 80 and still going strong. His wife, Betty (in blue), is not quite as healthy. Duane is now wheel chair bound whenever he leaves the house. Merlene is the mover and shaker in that duo. Margie (in black) is the wife of Dennis who passed away about 12 or so years ago. What a gem. We just love her to pieces. We love to visit her family in Santa Fe. Buck (the youngest in the family) and Glena came this year and to reward them for that, they will be in charge of the reunion to be held in 2011. We love and appreciate them. Glena is my brother-in-law, Sherron Jackson's, sister. I've known her a lot longer than I've known Clark.
