Empty Nest!!

Saturday was the big day. Erin moved her things to Ephraim, Utah, to start her life as a college student at Snow College. We followed her down and Jarod, Jamie, & Lilli met us there. Jamie went to a year at Snow so she was full of helpful tips. Thanks, Jamie.

Erin was the first girl to check into the apartment so she got first choice of the 3 bedrooms. She chose the room fartherest from the kitchen and living room. Hopefully it will be quiet. Also there were 2 chests of drawers in one room and one in each of the other two rooms. So with a little help from her dad and big bro, her room became the room with two chests of drawers. She was able to transfer to the Wal Mart in Ephraim so her job continues, although at a much lower salary than she was making in Vernal. Darn. But a job at a lesser salary is certainly better than no job. She was pretty nervous to leave Vernal and her friends, but given time and patience I am certain she will come to love it.

She will be on the third floor, back half of the building. Although always climbing stairs can be tiring, in my opinion, it is the best place to be. First floor you have people jumping on your heads it seems. Second floor you have noise from below and people jumping on your heads. Third floor, only the noise from below. Just my little bit of wisdom for today. Clark and I are adjusting just fine to an empty house. We love our family dearly, but the time is right for us to be empty nesters. Yeah!!!
